About Dru Garcia
Dru represents business and developers in the Chicago area market in the commercial, corporate, industrial, and residential real estate sectors. As a seasoned professional with an economic development background, she has spent most of her career working with businesses and developers in Chicago’s suburbs to navigate regulatory processes and access available resources. As part of her roles in local and county government economic development agencies, Dru guided businesses in the residential, retail, hospitality, office, and industrial sectors through the site selection, entitlement, and incentive application processes. Dru also closely partnered with area workforce departments and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) to deliver workforce services to employers across suburban Chicago. As such, Dru is well-acquainted with the constraints, requirements, concerns, and objectives of local government. Her holistic support enabled significant new investments in the advanced manufacturing, professional services, technology, life sciences, and healthcare industries.
Dru continues to focus on helping businesses and developers in these industries solve complex real estate challenges centered around space, labor, infrastructure, and culture. She advises and transacts on a range of projects, including real estate strategy development, leasing and subleasing, and acquisition and disposition.
